Meditation at the Museum

Monthly, second Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Join us each month to clear your mind and refresh your spirit with meditation sessions led by experienced practitioners. All are welcome; no prior experience with meditation is required.

Our 11:00 a.m. session features the serene atmosphere of the west wing glass box gallery. Enjoy guided meditation among works from the museum’s Indian and Southeast Asian collection.

Our 1:00 p.m. session offers an active walking meditation practice that takes your walk to a new level of awareness and promotes gratitude, mindfulness, wellness, and a deeply felt sense of fulfillment.

$5 registration fee. Advance registration highly recommended, as space is limited and sessions often sell out. Drop-ins the day of the program will be accommodated as space permits. Register through the museum’s ticket center online or by phone at 216-421-7350. 

Please note that yoga mats and water bottles are not allowed in the galleries, and shoes must be kept on at all times. Carpet pads and stools are provided.
